Pines Fire Department 2022 Donation Letter
Monetary Request for Assistance
The Pines Fire Department needs funds for new STATE REQUIRED radios.
This is a state mandated change to 800 MHz that is now instituted by the County.
The Department needs 9 radios, at over $3000 each, and 3 voice pages, at $700 each. The Fire Department was given six radios, but they have a 16 person team. All donations will help the Pines Fire Department to better communicate with Porter County during emergency situations. Not only does the Pines Fire Department aid in fire fighting, car accident assistance, and emergency services, but our community participates with neighboring communities in mutual aid. Having the proper radio equipment will allow them to be able to continue rescuing people and aiding our surrounding community in the most safe and effective manner.
Please contact the Pines Fire Department with any questions regarding donations at: (219)898-2097.
Donations can also be made on their Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/pinesfiredept
